Assisted Living & Memory Care Manager

Plymouth Management Services is recruiting for one of our clients which is a well-established senior living community in the southern suburbs of Chicago is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assisted Living & Memory Care Manager to lead the daily operations of its Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who is passionate about creating an exceptional resident experience while supporting and developing a dedicated team.

Clinical licensure is not required. We welcome candidates from a variety of senior living backgrounds. Our highest priority is identifying a leader with demonstrated experience managing Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities and a strong commitment to quality resident care and team leadership.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for Assisted Living and Memory Care services.

  • Foster a culture centered on resident dignity, hospitality, and person-centered care.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department staff while promoting employee engagement and accountability.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

  • Partner with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional service.

  • Support occupancy growth through outstanding customer service and positive resident and family experiences.

  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-quality living environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or senior living operations.

  • Strong knowledge of Illinois Assisted Living regulations and dementia care best practices preferred.

  • Demonstrated success leading teams, improving operations, and building positive workplace culture.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
